Problems

None of the names is you.

Tap None of these, I didn’t send any. This is right if you only read the chat.

You want a different name on your messages.

Tap Your name, shown on your messages. Your name in this chat opens. Type the name. Tap Save.

Finish import is gray.

Tap a name first. If it is still gray, tap Your name, shown on your messages and add your name.

No name shown

Messages did not include the names, so TextPort cannot tell who sent what. Pick the row with your messages, or None of these, I didn’t send any.

You picked the wrong name.

Tap the chat name at the top. Chat Details opens. Tap the person who is you. Turn on This is me. Tap the back button, then the X. See Edit the chat name and people's names.

Your chat is from WhatsApp.

See Choose which WhatsApp person is you.

Your chat is from screenshots, and a message is on the wrong side.

Press and hold the message. Tap Mark as Outgoing or Mark as Incoming. See Fix who sent a message.
