Done

You have a CSV file. Each message is one row, with its type, date and time, name, phone or email, and text.

Problems

Export Failed

Tap Try Again. If it fails again, close the chat and open it once more.

A phone number or a message starts with an apostrophe.

TextPort adds it so the spreadsheet app keeps the number as text. You can leave it.

There is no Timestamp column.

The chat has its times hidden. In the chat, tap …, then Show Timestamps. Export again.

You need only some dates.

See Export only a date range.

None of these match.
